Mindfulness, Yoga and journaling for a more hopeful 2025

online retreat

Saturday, 18th January 2025, 2PM GMT / 3PM CET (2.5h)

35€

This is an opportunity to start the year in a very different way. We’ll focus on dreaming and imagining a more hopeful 2025. We’ll create a space for a more mindful and embodied lifestyle where we can increase our opportunities for connection with ourselves, the people around us and nature.

Just like waves that travel through the ocean bringing energy from faraway storms into our local sea shores, we’ll learn how embodied journaling can also help us embrace our very own transformative powers.

The session will start with a Meditation and a Yoga practice inspired in the Ocean to explore inner connection and get the mind and the body ready for journaling.

I’ll then guide you into your own journaling practice leaving no space for overthinking, blockages or fears. We’ll embrace imagination and reawaken our natural and instinctive sense of curiosity. Inspired by the force of the ocean, you’ll learn how to look at things around you differently.

I’ll also share tips of my own journaling daily practice and how I like to take it beyond self-reflection to use it as a powerful tool for connection with everything and everyone around me.

Water is the most fluid element. It is adaptable. A quality we’ll explore through Yoga’s mindful movement and the intimate journaling.

The ocean can be experienced from within, swimming in its waters (as if we were walking in a garden); or from the shore, observing the movement of its waters, with the wind, the waves and the currents.

Life, as much as the ocean, is in constant movement. An embodied journaling practice give us the opportunity to pause and immortalize life in motion. This online retreat will give you the chance to appreciate your life and your environment through your senses, beyond words. You’ll explore the peacefulness and the inherent calm of the ocean, even when it is rough and with big waves.

We’ll spend an afternoon together exploring journaling as a tool for connection and how it can be used to find grounding and be more inspired while nurturing a constant sense of awe, which is beneficial for our wellbeing.

We’ll intimately gather for 2.5hours in a small live group over Zoom to give people the opportunity to join from anywhere in the world. The main language of this online retreat will be English. Some support will be offered in Spanish, in case it is needed for clarifications. All the journaling materials that you’ll create during the retreat will be completely private and you won’t be asked to share them with the group. So you may write them in any language you feel more comfortable with. During the retreat, there will be moments open for sharing thoughts and ideas. English will be the main language of communication in that case, but some support in Spanish will be offered.

You will receive an email with a Zoom link to join the event within 24-48h after your purchase. You will also receive an email reminder ahead of the event.

“It is said that before entering the sea, a river trembles with fear. She looks back at the path she has traveled,
from the peaks of the mountains, the long winding road crossing forests and villages. And in front of her, she sees an ocean so vast, that to enter there seems nothing more than to disappear forever. But there is no other way. The river can’t go back. Nobody can go back. To go back is impossible in existence. The river needs to take the risk
of entering the ocean because only then will fear disappear, because that’s where the river will know it’s not about disappearing into the ocean, but of becoming the ocean.”

Through initiatives and events that encompass voice, body and nature, all the events and initiatives from Vivarium project are aimed to emphasize the value of the ocean as a place for life.
